Information on Payment of Fees for New Students
This is to inform all our new students who paid the Acceptance fee of the following fee payment directives:
- Tuition and accommodation fees are to be paid into the Akwa Ibom State Government Internally Generated Revenue (AKSIGR) platform with two separate tellers: one for accommodation and the other for tuition. This is in line with established financial procedures. (See attached AKSG account details below).
- Students are required to obtain clearance from the Home Sister of their respective campuses before proceeding to pay the accommodation fee.
This directive has become necessary due to the limited number of available accommodation spaces, and it is intended to prevent payment without securing any space. - For ease of compliance and to promote flexibility, Management has further approved that fees may be paid at once or on a semester basis. Students are encouraged to utilize this arrangement to ensure timely payment.
- The payment for other fees must be through the new fee portal, while tuition and accommodation must be paid in the bank through the AKSIGR as stated before.
N/B: The fee portal will remain open for payment of fee by all students for the next two weeks (1st to 15th December, 2025) after which the portal will be closed and students will be required to pay a late registration fee of Twenty Thousand Naira only (₦20,000). - All students are expected to take note of the above directives and comply accordingly.
For further clarification, please contact the Accounts Unit in your campus.
